FAQ's:
"Is the
Equal-i-zer hitch easy to use?"
Everything about the Equal-i-zer's design makes trailer towing as effortless as
possible, so that driving stays a pleasure. Intricate moves, just aren't that
hard. Turning is a snap. And the Equal-i-zer's unique design allows it to work
flawlessly with surge brakes -- so that boat towing is a breeze.
"How does
the Equal-i-zer hook-up?
From the moment you back-up to couple it, you'll see how quick and simple using
the Equal-i-zer is. It installs in only seconds on any standard two-inch
receiver hitch. Then it can be coupled at any angle. Getting on the road
doesn't get much easier.
"How does
Equal-i-zer eliminate trailer sway?"
The Equal-i-zer hitch eliminates trailer sway through a friction system built
directly into the hitch head. When towing with an Equal-i-zer brand hitch,
towing hazards such as cross winds, passing trucks, and quick lane changes are
not a problem. The truck and trailer stay together with no fishtailing.
"How long
does it take to install an Equal-i-zer hitch?"
The initial installation of the Equal-i-zer is easy. It can be done by the dealer
or the trailer owner in less than an hour. The Equal-i-zer comes completely
ready to use with no hidden costs for extra accessories, special tools, or
"add-ons". The Equal-i-zer installs in just seconds on any
conventional two-inch receiver hitch, and after the initial installation,
hook-up is quick and easy.
"Does
Equal-i-zer hitch offer weight distribution?"
Yes. The Equal-i-zer transfers the trailer's tongue-weight evenly to all the
axles of the tow vehicle. This keeps the steering wheels in firm contact with
the road surface -- giving you greater control and safety.
The weight distribution feature will allow your truck and trailer to ride
level. Equal-i-zer's non-tapered spring arms give superior weight distribution
and the rigid trailer brackets provide a smoother, more comfortable ride.
