What an Air Conditioner!

Atwood Mobile (yes, Atwood, the manufacturers of RV water heaters, furnaces, and much more) are introducing the AirCommand RV Air Conditioners.  These A/C units are manufactured and tested in Austraila--and are now available to RV'ers in the U.S.

Both the 13,500 BTU and the 15,000 BTU non-ducted models feature true highly efficient operation through the use of a two motor concept which allows for a fixed condenser fan speed while the blower has variable speed.  A flip-down LCD control panel with digital thermostat and a wireless remote control are standard.

The 15,000 BTU model is not only reliable, super-cooling machine, it's also a heat pump.  Heat pump?  I need a heat pump?  When you own a Heat Pump and an Air Conditioner, you actually have 2 appliances in 1!  The same air conditioning components of this unit will heat your RV during cool weather.  When you need heat, you'll have the choice of 'fuel':  electric when you use the heat pump or propane gas when you use your furnace.
