The Fabric Roller Tube Assembly (FRTA) component for a Carefree Travel'r, Eclipse, Pioneer, Altitude or Compass awning will deliver to you in your awning length and your chosen fabric color.

If your awning's fabric and/or roller tube need replacing, this is the item to get.  This one component includes new vinyl fabric, in your choice of several colors, on the roller tube.

Double-wrap, multi-layer vinyl Weatherguard looks better and lasts longer.  Your choice of White or Matching color.  Other brands feature single-weight, no-Weatherguard construction.  The multi-layer vinyl canopy is the best awning fabric available.  Competitors use single piece no-Weatherguard fabric.

 

For this MTO Springless Fabric Roller Tube Assembly (FRTA) YOU will specify:

 

  • Your exact awning length.  Normally this is a full-foot measurement like 11' or 20', etc.  But, if you need a special length, you may order it here.  Remember, the awning length is measured from the center-of-arm to the center-of-arm.
  • Your choice of 13 vinyl colors.

The Best Fabrics

Carefree's double-wrap, multi-layer vinyl canopy with vinyl Weatherguard looks better and lasts longer.  Don't settle for the single weight, no-Weatherguard construction of other brands.  The multi-layer vinyl canopy is the best awning fabric available. 

Vinyl Dune Stripes will feature a white weatherguard.  The Dune Stripes pattern and color are on both sides of the canopy, top and bottom.  Choose from:  Sierra Brown, Bordeaux, Teal, Black/Gray, and Ocean Blue.

Vinyl Shale Fades will feature a white weatherguard.  Matching weatherguard is available.  The Shale Fades and Checkered Flag have pattern and color on the top side of the canopy only.  The underside is always white.  Choose from:  Black Fade, Blue Fade, Burgundy Fade, Camel Fade, and Silver Fade.

 

An awning's size (i.e.: 12' to 21') refers to the center-arm to center-arm measurement.  Actual fabric length will be slightly shorter, while overall complete awning length will be slightly longer.

Installation Difficulty = 4 out of 5 wrenches.  You can install this awning yourself with a helper and power tools (drill).  Any RV awning requires unobstructed access to an awning rail.  When mounting to a surface that does not have an awning rail, you will need to install one first.
